Details Itianary (day by day)
Day 1: Pokhara – Samrong (Jhinu Danda) – Bamboo Village
Trek Distance: 12 km / 7.4 miles | Trek Duration: 5 hours
- Scenic drive from Pokhara (820m) to Samrong (Jhinu Danda) via Nayapul and Birethanti.
- Cross the iconic Modi Khola River to start trekking from the Jhinu hanging bridge.
- Pass Chhomrong village and trek through lush forests, terraced farmland, and stone steps.
- Continue to Sinuwa for panoramic valley and Himalayan mountain views.
- Arrive at Bamboo Village, surrounded by rhododendron forests.
- Overnight stay in local guesthouse / tea house.
Day 2: Bamboo Village – Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC)
Trek Distance: 11 km / 6.8 miles | Trek Duration: 6 hours
- Trek through dense Himalayan forests and stone steps, gaining altitude steadily.
- Pass Deurali, noticing unique high-altitude plants and early snow-capped mountain views.
- Reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) with close-up views of Fishtail Mountain (6,997m).
- Enjoy sunset and panoramic Himalayan vistas.
- Overnight at local guesthouse.
Day 3: Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) – Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) – Himalaya
Trek Distance: 12 km / 7.5 miles round trip | Trek Duration: 6 hours
- Start early for trek to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) along the frozen streams and rocky trails.
- Reach ABC (4,130m), the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary.
- Marvel at 360-degree panoramic views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and other Himalayan peaks.
- Optional photography stops for Instagram-worthy Himalayan scenery.
- Descend to Himalaya village (2,920m) for overnight stay in a local guesthouse.
Day 4: Himalaya – Jhinu Danda – Pokhara
Trek Distance: 14 km / 8.9 miles + 60 km / 37 miles drive | Trek Duration: 5 hours trek + 3 hours drive
- Descend through Dovan village and lower Sinuwa, passing Chhomrong village again.
- Reach Jhinu Danda, with optional hot spring bath to relax after trekking.
- Jeep or drive back to Pokhara via Samrong and Nayapul.
- End the trek with memorable views of the Annapurna Himalayan range.
