Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek – 5 Days |

Detailed  Itinerary

Day 1: Pokhara – Samrong – Chhomrong / Sinuwa (2,170 m / 7,119 ft)

  • Drive: 60 km / 38 miles from Pokhara to Samrong (Jhinu Danda).
  • Trek: ~6 km (2 hrs) through terraced fields and forest. Optional extension to Sinuwa (2 hrs).
  • Highlights: Enjoy panoramic mountain views and natural hot springs at Jhinu Danda.
  • Accommodation: Local guesthouse.

Day 2: Chhomrong / Sinuwa – Deurali (3,200 m / 10,498 ft)

  • Trek Distance: 15 km / 9 mi, ~5–6 hrs.
  • Route: Alongside Modi Khola river, pass Bamboo, Hinko Cave, and reach Deurali at the Sanctuary gateway.
  • Accommodation: Local guesthouse.
  • Highlight: Experience high-altitude trekking with lush landscapes.

Day 3: Deurali – Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m / 13,550 ft)

  • Trek Distance: 7 km / 4.3 mi (~5 hrs).
  • Highlights: Steep trail, alpine scenery, ice and rock peaks, serene high-altitude environment.
  • Accommodation: Local guesthouse at ABC.
  • Note: Witness 360° panoramic views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, and Tharpu Chuli.

Day 4: Explore ABC and Trek to Bamboo (4,130 m / 13,550 ft)

  • Trek Distance: 15 km / 8.69 mi (~4.5–5 hrs).
  • Highlights: Sunrise over the Annapurna range, then descend via Deurali and MBC to Bamboo.
  • Accommodation: Local guesthouse.

Day 5: Bamboo – Jhinu Danda (1,780 m / 5,840 ft) – Pokhara

  • Trek Distance: 9.5 km / 5.9 mi (~4 hrs) plus 3-hr drive.
  • Highlights: Downhill trek, optional hot spring bath at Jhinu Danda, drive back to Pokhara.
  • Accommodation: Your booked hotel in Pokhara.

Important Notes for ABC Trek – 5 Days

  • Fitness Requirement: This trek is for travelers in strong condition, able to walk 5–7 hrs daily in high altitudes.
  • Trek Start / End: Early mornings after breakfast (~8–9 am), end by ~4 pm (condition apply).
  • Meals: Breakfast ~7 am, Lunch ~1 pm, Dinner ~7 pm at local guesthouses.
  • Transportation: Shared jeep/bus from Pokhara to trailheads (condition apply).
  • Itinerary Flexibility: Can be adjusted based on guest’s walking pace, weather, or other conditions.
